Author: Fiske & Freeman

John Fiske and Lisa Freeman (yes, we are married) trade as Fiske and Freeman, Early English Antiques, and specialize in 17th-century furniture with some country furniture up to c.1750. We also carry appropriate accessories. We've been in business for nearly 20 years and have the largest (and we think the best) inventory of 17th-century English furniture in the US. We have published a book, Living with Early Oak, and publish Acorns, a free bi-monthly eMagazine about things and life in the 17th century. Visit our website to buy the book or sign up for Acorns - www.fiskeandfreeman.com. John grew up in England in a home full of 17th-century furniture; Lisa is from New Jersey and also grew up in a home furnished with antiques. John went to Cambridge University and his first career was as a professor. Lisa went to Middlebury College and her first career was as an academic book publisher. John edits the New England Antiques Journal, and Lisa has her own electronic marketing and website business, L Freeman Marketing.
